Admissions

The admissions process usually begins with a visit to the nursery, giving families the opportunity to see our setting in action. Nursery tours can also include the Prep School facilities. Full tours of the whole School can be arranged on request.

Following your visit, children are normally invited back for a stay and play session with their parents. Once a place has been accepted, children will take part in a settling-in period, allowing them to become familiar with the nursery environment before their official start date.

To book a tour, please email [email protected] or call 01747 813010.

Information on nursery fees is available on request.

Settling In

All children experience a period of transition when moving from home to nursery, and each child responds in their own way. While some children settle quickly, others may need a little more time. We work closely with families to ensure every child feels supported, safe and secure during this important stage.

We offer a gradual settling-in process, helping children become confident in the nursery environment and reassuring them that parents will always return.

We understand that working parents may need to drop off and go, so we encourage families to plan ahead and, where possible, attend settling-in sessions in the weeks before returning to work. It is also helpful to have another authorised family member available for collection if a child is finding the transition difficult.

We pride ourselves on working openly and flexibly with parents. The wellbeing of each child and their family is always our priority, and we tailor the settling-in process to ensure a positive and successful start to nursery life.
